Water Sports
We offer an enormous variety of excitement on, under and above the sea and all can be easily booked from our Water Sports Bure located directly on the beach. Our boats are custom made for specific purposes. Whether it be a glass bottomed boat for coral viewing or a 200 horse power boat for waterskiing.
Scuba Diving
We cater for all ages, novice divers, adventurous and experienced divers. Five ultra modern dive boats and all capable of speeds in excess of 30 knots allows divers access to the best dive sites in the area. 180 tanks, Seaquest, Aqualung & Sherwood rental equipment, nine PADI instructors and six PADI Divemasters make up our professional team.
A short boat trip away lays the Mamanuca Islands which are surrounded by Fiji's oldest and largest marine sanctuary. The accessibility to these dive sites within the pristine waters and the wide variety of coral environments available makes the Fiji Beach Resort and Spa the ideal diving holiday location. We offer drift dives, night dives, an action packed shark encounter, wreck dives and much much more.
Parasailing
After the adrenalin rush of take off, you are seated comfortably under your parachute with an Albatross’s view of our wonderful coral reefs and coral islands. It is gentle and easy, and depending on wind conditions is suitable for children, inbetweens and grandparents. We can even fly a parent and child in tandem.
Jet skiing
Our Yamaha XL 700 'Wave Runners' are well suited for both experienced riders and learners they’re fast and ready to ride.
Wakeboarding
Relatively new to the world of water sports it’s like snowboarding on water – anyone who can water ski must try this for added fun and adrenaline.
Waterskiing
We offer the best in skiing behind our 200horse powered boat. Lessons for learners and Kevlar / Graphite tunnel hull skis for the more experienced.
Sailing and Windsurfing
The tranquil waters of the Mamanucas and the on shore breezes create an ideal environment for sailing our hobby cats, windsurfing or canoeing. The equipment is suitable for use by learners / intermediates, and generally the conditions are easy.
Golf and Tennis
Hop on the complementary Denarau shuttle from the hotel lobby and in 5 minutes you will arrive at The Denarau Golf and Racquet Club. The pride of the club is the 18 hole, 6538 metre, par 72 championship golf course. Meandering through a magnificent landscape, with water hazards on 15 of the 18 holes, the course is widely regarded as the finest, most challenging course in the South Pacific.
The club also boasts six grass and four floodlit synthetic tennis courts. A well stocked, professionally staffed golf and tennis shop has everything you need to play in paradise, from hire clubs and racquets to a wide range of apparel and merchandise. Golf and tennis professionals are on hand to help you with your swing and serve. Adult and junior clinics and private tuition are readily available.
