About Navini Island Resort
Navini Island Resort, just 10 miles out from Nadi, is a small private island resort surrounded by white sand and a spectacular coral reef sanctuary. Resort staff meet you at Nadi airport or mainland hotels at times to suit you, and transfer you personally by car and boat to Navini; takes about one hour. Guests experience a casual and thoroughly relaxed atmosphere; the whole island is for the exclusive use of guests, no day trippers. All bures are beachfront with three types to choose from. There are daily outings and a large range of watersports equipment, all activities are complimentary. Our well stocked boutique has a range of light clothing, suntan lotions and toiletries, souvenirs, snacks and a library. The open air dining room provides a large variety of meals to choose from including tropical fruits, fresh fish, local and traditional dishes, and weekly lovo feast. Of an evening, enjoy the soft harmonies of Fijian music, and you may like to join in a game of vidividi with the staff. The weekly kava ceremony followed by singing and dancing is a special experience.
Accommodation and Meals
Navini’s 10 beachfront bures include Deluxe bures with spa and courtyard, two roomed bures with spa, and Premier one room bures. All have a queen size bed, single bed/s, mini bar, tea/coffee making facilities, high ceilings and lots of windows to catch the sea breeze. A veranda opens onto the beach with your own umbrella, beach lounge and hammock. Bure accommodation rates per night, valid until 31/3/10 are Deluxe F$695, Two roomed bures F$640 and Premier bures F$555. Return transfers Nadi/Navini/Nadi are F$460 per person. Meals (full choice of the menu) are F$98 per person per day.
Everything the Navini kitchen serves is prepared there, from fresh baked breads to home made ice creams. Our bar is fully licensed so you can enjoy your choice of drinks. A private candlelight dinner can also be set up for you if you wish, on the beach in front of your bure.
Other details
From the front door of your bure, you can walk across the sand and swim to Navini’s renowned coral reef sanctuary which surrounds the Island. Having been a sanctuary for 18 years, there is an incredible variety of soft and hard corals, fish, crayfish, clams, rays and other sealife for you to see on this reef. The morning outings include fishing trips, visits to a Fijian village, and to other islands. Watersports equipment available for your use include sailing catamarans, single and double canoes, windsurfers, seacycles, and snorkelling equipment. All are complimentary. Scuba diving, para sailing and game fishing can be arranged at extra cost. For a very special experience, enjoy a Fijian massage. Of course there is always the option of enjoying a book on the sunlounge under your beach umbrella.
